Juliet Woller

Juliet Woller is HOD Music at New Plymouth Girls' High School. She gained a Bachelor of Music in Composition from the University of Otago under the tutelage of Dr Anthony Ritchie, Peter Adams and the late Jack Speirs.

As HOD Music, Juliet has composed and arranged music for school ensembles and choirs as the need has arisen. Her particular passion is choral music having directed school choirs since 2004. In 2020, her choral work I'll Cut My Heart was published by Australian publishing company Middle C Music. In 2023, her choral setting of The Icicles by Janet Frame was extremely well-received at the Lower North Island Big Sing Cadenza.

Juliet plans to write more compositions for secondary school choirs and has experience in directing both SATB and SSA choirs.
