About
Riverside Town is composed for solo harmonica and piano accompaniment. The whole piece include three movements. The duration suggestion is at least 7 minutes and 30 seconds. “Riverside Town” is the name of a series of ancient Chinese poems. This piece selected three ancient Chinese poems with the title of "Riverside Town" as the creative background. They are: "Riverside Town · Appreciation of Spring" by Shuzhen Zhu, “Riverside Town · Dou Zhuan Star Transfer Jade Leak Frequency" by Ning He and “Riverside Town·Yimao First Moon Twentieth Day and Night Dream" by Shi Su.
All of the three poems express the endless longing for the beloved by the ancient Chinese literati.
