About
This was my first work in an irregular time-signature and was composed as part of my NCEA Scholarship portfolio. I wanted to experiment with not only a large instrumentation (compared to what I'm used to), but also with a time-signature that was strongly rhythmical and unusual.

Original 2020 version: 3(1.2.p) 2 2 1 / 1 2 2 1 / perc (timp + claves) / str
Version without low brass: 3(1.2.p) 2 2 1 / 2 2 0 0 / perc (timp + claves) / str
Difficulty note
this work is suitable for any 'intermediate level or above' orchestral groups

24 Sep 2022: Performed by the Dunedin Youth Orchestra (with guest Christchurch Youth Orchestra players)
