About

This short work for cor anglais and piano was composed in Katoomba, in the Blue Mountains, in April 2016. It was premiered by Annabel Lovatt and the composer at the University of Auckland Music Theatre in August of that year and subsequently arranged for saxophonist Reuben Chin to perform with Kirsten Robertson at Tiramoana, Gisborne in January 2017.

April 2007: Performed by Peter Dykes and Gemma Lee at the New Zealand Double Reed Society Conference

May 2017: Performed by Jane Murray and Manabu Takasawa as part of the University of Rhode Island Contemporary Music Festival

August 2016: Premiered by Annabel Lovatt (cor anglais) and Ben Hoadley at the University of Auckland Music Theatre
