About
"My inspiration for this piece has been my daughter and the way in which she and I forge understandings without words... in her case, without even the concept of language or the acknowledgement of a world beyond the intimacy of her and me."
The work is a series of short movements that are played with brief pauses between them - a series of songs with the focus on harmony and melodic shape.
