This is really a play on diminished harmony and the haunting sounds that diminished harmony can make available for the musician. It’s an expression of that airy feeling we sometimes get - an acknowledgement of the house ghost. This tune is a good example of the diminished flavour and makes a great introduction when played in groups of pieces.
