Out of Time takes as its text six lines from Australian poet, Kenneth Slessor's three part poem, Out of Time. The project title Out of Time, came first, and discovering the Slessor poem of the same name was a rewarding opportunity to set an evocative section of his poem about time and the individual. The music explores the shifting moods of the poem excerpt.
