About
Kobi, the well-known NZ goldsmith and creative jeweller, lived across the road from us with his family, in Mornington, Dunedin. He was learning the piano and asked me if I would write some music for him. The pieces proved a little beyond his ability at that point, and were finally performed in 2006. The five pieces drew their inspiration from five paintings in a book of famous paintings from around the world that I had in my library at the time.
