Multus Amicus Nullus Amicus ('a friend to all is a friend to none') is a slow 48-bar ABA Bossa. Most of Multus Amicus Nullus Amicus consists of a horizontally descending 8-bar phrase utilising vertical dissonances; this provides contrast to strong melodic material.
