Elemental Shift is another motific composition based on a 2-bar phrase, transposed to fit an often-changing harmonic sequence. The harmonic shifts heard in this tune represent movement of the earth’s crust often experienced at Whatipu – ‘Nature moves itself around constantly here. It’s a dynamic, high-energy place.
