About
This is a “Gimel” piece as well as a Round. It starts with the cello playing the main tune followed by the viola. The second violin comes in with the same melodic material on bar 4 and the first violin on bar 5. The Round plays out in this formation, starting quiet then gradually building to the circular bright “sun rise”.
