About
WAVEring Lines was inspired by the ocean, and how if you were to draw it, you would use many lines drawn quite close together to form a dense mass. Originally written on six staves, it features embedded melodies within dense chords, which are discovered and lifted out by the pianist so that each performance is unique. This piece is like a performer's puzzle, highlighting strands to portray the fluctuating lines of the sea.
