One of five pieces composed over several years under the general banner of Piano Suite 2. The Scherzo is lighter in weight than the other four pieces in this Suite, and doesn't require quite as much expertise. It's a sandwich, with a lively syncopated outside and a gentle and simple tune in the middle.
