About
One of five pieces composed over several years under the general banner of Piano Suite 2. This piece requires the piano to imitate the orchestra as far as possible. There are sections where soloists play, and sections where the full ensemble is at work. It has a feel about it of church bells ringing early in some Italian city, with the sun already starting to bathe the houses in light, and increasing joy in the new day.
