About
The first of these short solo pieces (Dualities) was written in 2006 for Johnny Chang; the second (Dualities 2) in late 2012 for Mark Menzies. In both works, two parts – rhythmically and registerally independent lines in the first piece; independent actions for each hand in the second – both conflict and coalesce to form a dynamic whole.
