About

Outside my front door I hear the chirping of new born chicks, the distinctive call of Tuis - Aotearoa's famous songbird, planes wizzing overhead, cars driving past, and the creaky gate next door slamming shut.

This work was composed especially for Rob Voisey's Vox Novus project. It is one piece in the hour-long 60x60 2010 Scarlet Mix, which presents, back-to-back, one-minute pieces from 60 composers from all over the globe.
