Performed at the 2018 Cubadupa street festival in association with NZ Opera. Jacqueline Coats directed this performance at Wellington’s Hannah’s Courtyard, with lead roles sung by Daniel O'Connor (Neil Armstrong), Declan Cudd (Buzz Aldrin), Rowena Simpson (Impey Barbicane), Barbara Paterson (Michael Ardan) and Luka Venter (Captain Nicholl). Michael Vinten conducted the chamber orchestra and Capital! Steampunk provided the chorus of lunar extras.

Filmed and edited by Chris Watson for the Resound Project (funded by NZ On Air). Audio was recorded by Phil Brownlee with live feed provided by Warwick Donald. (Chris Watson is not accustomed to filming on a lunar landscape where rain is threatening - hence the rough-and-ready feel to this Resound film!)
