About
Rob Thorne identifies as Ngāti Tumutumu, of Mt Te Aroha on the Hauraki Plains. Tumutumu is also the name given to a pūoro, usually understood as a term from Te Waipounamu to indicate the striking together of small stones.
In this final instalment of our interview with Rob, he delves into the mystery of whether there is a link between the Ngati Tumutumu the iwi and taonga pūoro.
