Sketches features the compositions of Mike Nock, Phil Broadhurst and John Rae as played by Colin Hemmingsen (saxophones, bassoon).

Joining Colin are some of New Zealand's top musicians including; Nick Granville (guitar), Paul Dyne (bass), Phil Broadhurst (piano) and John Rae (drums).

Recorded and released with support from the New Zealand School of Music.
