Other works on the programme include Mendelssohn’s String Symphony no 1 in C , Alan Ridout’s Concertino for Horn and Strings (soloist David Mueller-Cajar), Finzi’s Prelude for String Orchestra and Boyce's Symphony no 1 in B flat.
