Part of the City of London Festiva, this concert is the London première of the full set of Landscape Preludes – short piano pieces by New Zealand’s 12 leading composers, inspired by the stunning and varied landscapes of their beautiful country. Commissioned by Stephen de Pledge, this cycle of pieces represents the distinctive creative voices of New Zealand and reflects their sense of place, perfectly capturing the essence of this year’s Festival.
