This concert in the NZSM Lunchtime series features a programme richly diverse in New Zealand music performed by tutors and lecturers at the university.
In his review of the concert for the Capital Times, Garth Wilshere noted:
of Ross Harris' The Floating Bride, The Crimson Village – "This is a significant addition to the song cycle repertoire. [Jenny] Wollerman's lovely soprano caught all the moods, and Emma Sayers was the perfect accompanist. They made a formidable team."
The other performers were Matthew Marshall performing works by Kenneth Young for solo guitar, and Donald Maurice (viola) accompanied by Richard Mapp (piano) playing one movement each from the Alfred Hill Viola Concerto (1940) and Anthony Ritchie Viola Concerto (1994).
