As We Have Long Been Doing
We walk upon the earth, feast our eyes,
wonder at what we see in the skies;
listen to rivers and streams, stand
humbled by mountains and stare
in awe of oceans and their might.
What evolved and went before
is all around us, and the future's
A mystery bound to unravel
and spring matters indispensable
that have yet to be foreseen.
So nurture and treasure this planet,
look harder and listen more carefully,
for much is remarkable, magisterial,
more and more precious by the day.
