About
All the Moon Long has a wistful character. The title is drawn from Dylan Thomas’ poem 'Fern Hill' (1945) and concerns nostalgia for childhood and the realisation of life's transience.
“…All the moon long I heard…the nightjars...and the horses flashing in the dark.”
“…as I was young…
Time held me green and dying
Though I sang in my chains like the sea."
