About
‘Autahi’ is a star located in the Southern Cross, which is te puka (the anchor) of the great waka in the sky, the second brightest within our nights. This piece explores the role of indigenous people within the growing narrative of climate change, showing how voyaging and navigation knowledges are taonga passed down to us from our ancestors for the trying times to come.
