The piece is, “An ode to the weather but also the internal emotion of feeling a bit low. I wanted to create a piece that was melancholic and explored the sensitive range of the soprano. In writing this piece, I intentionally visualised how Callum [Allardice] would sound playing it on electric guitar, and I'm very pleased with how warm it ended up sounding.”
