About
Quite a lot of Franz Schubert’s Lieder were about romantic relationships. Heck, he wrote two whole song cycles which were basically concept albums about bad breakups. Schubert also had a particular preoccupation with fish: at least a dozen songs in his oeuvre deal with fish, fishermen, fisherladies, fishing poles, etc.
Conclusion: had Tinder been around in 1820s Vienna, Franz would have been all over that app. Furthermore, his first photo would have been him holding a trout. Freaky Franzi’s Schubertapalooza is a megamix of fifteen of Franz’s most famous Lieder, parodying German and English lyrics into a comedically self-unaware Tinderreise.
