About
Eclipse explores the momentary relationship between the sun and moon as they cross paths. This piece uses western minimalism techniques with the soft beauty of eastern instruments to hint at the global relationship we have with the sun and moon.
Eclipse was written during a visit from musicians from the Zhejiang Conservatory of Music at the New Zealand School of Music and was performed soon after at the China Crossing concert.
