Lines is a fixed-media, two-dimensional ambisonic piece developed for octophonic reproduction. It explores the dichotomous relationship between two spaces, each captured in Wellington’s Ohariu Valley. In Lines, these environments are frantic and claustrophobic, as an unnatural counterpoint to their tranquil sonic source.
