About
...infinite songs... for toy piano solo is a selection of nine of Ross Carey's ...infinite songs... 33 Variations on 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' for piano solo (2014-16) arranged for 32-key (Kawai Grand) toy piano. This selection of pieces also exists in an arrangement for 37-key toy piano.
Both versions were made in February-March 2020 and are dedicated to the Seoul Toy Piano Ensemble. The original pieces (with the exception of nos. 32 & 33) are dedicated to various friends and musicians of the composer's acquaintance.
A number of the pieces utilise quotation-signatures of their dedicatees. These are given at the relevant points in the score.
