This string quartet arrangement of Hine e Hine by Princess Te Rangi Pai was made in May 2019 and is based upon a version for flute quartet dedicated to Quartetto Image, Italy completed in December 2017. That in turn is based upon an arrangement of the tune for SATB chorus commissioned by Susanna Saw in 2013 for SMK Seafield School Choir on the occasion of the visit to Malaysia by the New Zealand Secondary Schools Choir.
