The videoe is filmed in the beautiful country of Taiwan.

Kaaterama made the video when she was on an indigenous exchange experience at the age of 18 years old. It is between the people of Taiwan and rangatahi of Aotearoa (New Zealand).

The main theme of ‘He iti’ is kaitiakitanga or environmental stewardship. The song calls on rangatahi all over the world to look to the teachings of their indigenous cultures as a guide to taking care of their Taiao or natural environments.

"I wanted to shoot this video while she was in Taiwan to make the statement that no matter where you come from on earth, we all share the same planet so we all have to take care of it together! It’s a call to rangatahi all over the globe to look after mother nature".

Kaaterama released SHINE YOUR LIGHT November 8th 2018, with a special performance at Ratana’s centenary celebrations.
