These three songs were first performed by Ana Good and Rare Byrds in Dunedin in 2016. The orchestration is not set - appropriate instruments can be substituted. For the recorders, two players are required, and the orchestration is for descant, alto, tenor and bass.
The songs are:
- Schluf mein Tochter (a lullaby)
- Leg ich mir mein Kapele (what happens when I lay my head beside that of first my mother, then my mother-in-law, and finally my husband)
- Zum, zum (a nonsense song)
