"Leisure" is an attractive setting for SATB voices and piano of Welsh poet, William Henry Davies poem of the same name. This piece was written for the Auckland Welsh Choir and their director, Diana Rhodes. She has commented, "Thank you so much for the song – I printed it out and enjoyed a little sing – very appealing setting and I like the little frisson in the harmony to make it interesting. The soprano part is grateful in the voice and indeed all parts lie well, so the choir will manage the tessitura easily."
