About
Lieder consists of 9 songs inspired by the musical architecture of early 1980's pop music. The minimal stripped-back nature of this period is still present in Blair's dogmatic use of the iPad and app, Garageband, as sole compositional tools. Piano and baritone are added, and asceticism, austerity, repetition & simplicity reign.
The ultimate effect that is produced is hypnotic.
