These pieces were initally written in 1973 and performed in the Sonic Circus of the same year, by Christopher Norton.
The pieces are written in groups of musical statements separated by double bars. These can be repeated consecutively or in any order up to a maximum of five times. Alternatively the pieces can be played through as written without repeats. There should be short breaks between each statement unless repeated consecutively.
Some of the music has been significantly revised and to a large extent, some of the work is new.
