This setting was composed for Bella Cantoris to premier at the Diocesan School Carol Service. Using the traditional text which dates back at least to Tudor times, the treatment is modern in idiom and vibrant in character. The piece aims to capture both the drama of the story of Adam and Eve, alongside the mystery revealed by the “fall”.
