A setting of a poem by Walter de la Mare especially written for New Zealand soprano Anna Leese. The music reflects the joy and enthusiasm for music, both in the melodic line and in the flowing accompaniment. The vocal line is set in the soprano range with an optional top B flat. Anna Leese won the Mobil Song contest in 2003 and sang her debut as Musetta in La Boheme at Covent Garden Opera in 2006. She sang this song in a farewell concert in Palmerston North and Wanganui in 2005, prior to leaving for London
