About
The object of studying music is to increase our enjoyment and appreciation of a particular piece. to a certain extent we can enjoy a piece simply by listening to it; however, the more we learn about it, the more our enjoyment is enhanced. the authors would like to record their gratitude to Frank Collins, Colin Hemmingsen, Mervyn McLean and Peter Crowe for contributing chapters on Jazz and Non-Western music.
