John Psathas introduces his works ‘Second-Hand Time’ and ‘Voices at the End’ ahead of their performance by Michael Houstoun in this SOUNZ Film from Wellington’s Public Trust Hall. Both pieces see Houstoun’s piano joined by a cinematic soundscape to a backdrop of projected imagery with the audience challenged by themes of critical importance to humanity. John talks about the works’ genesis and development in this talk.
