About
One of the most powerful scenes in the production: when the father and son transport the audience to a traumatic period of the mother’s childhood life in Germany during World War II – the persecution and memory of innocent people that were killed.
I wanted to compose something powerful. It would be my heartfelt music tribute to the 6 million Jews killed by the Nazi regime.
Scene recorded for Seven Sharp – post interview footage. Directed by Anapela Polata'ivao and music composed and orchestrated by Poulima Salima.
Produced by Auckland Theatre Company.
