The OSTR (Orchestre Symphonique de Trois-Rivieres) include Ross Harris' Music for Jonny in this special concert featuring Poetry and Music from five Continents. The conductor is Jacques Lacombe who was recently in New Zealand as the conductor of the NZSO_NYO for 2008.
The full programme includes works from Europe (Puccini, Turina, Haydn, Bartok), Americas (Champagne, Copland), Asia (Takemitsu), and Africa (Sowande) as well as poets from each continent. Ross represented Oceania along with poet Nicolas Kurtovitch.
