This concert includes the acclaimed new work by Jenny McLeod which premiered at the NZ International Arts Festival 2008.
The Poet: A Song Cycle is a setting of words from 11 poems by Janet Frame focusing on the motif of "the poet". The New Zealand String Quartet perform with Tower Voices New Zealand conducted by Dr. Karen Grylls.
