This work from Michael Williams is one of those in the series of NZSO commissions from New Zealand composers of pieces that feature the orchestra's principal players as soloists, in this case, Robert Orr, Principal Oboe. Robert premiered the work in 2005. The venue is the Marlborough Centre in Blenheim.
