NZSO July: Napier

In this fourth concert tour of Subscription Series 1, the NZSO will include performances of the newly commissioned Winterlight by "Martin Lodge":/contributor/composer/1065 , a work for bassoon and orchestra, which will feature Preman Tilson, the NZSO's former principal bassoonist (1993-2007).

The programme, conducted by Jula Jones, also includes Haydn's Cello Concerto No.2 (soloist Alban Gerhardt) and Schumann's Symphony No.4 .
