This concert features the world premiere of the newly commissioned Winterlight by "Martin Lodge":/contributor/composer/1065 , a work for bassoon and orchestra, with soloist Preman Tilson, the NZSO's former principal bassoonist (1993-2007).
The programme, conducted by Jula Jones, also includes Haydn's Cello Concerto No.2 (soloist Alban Gerhardt) and Schumann's Symphony No.4 .
