The Jade String Quartet are committed to the performance of great music written by the best and newest of composers here in New Zealand as well as the masterpieces from around the world that make the string quartet repertoire so thrilling and inspiring to hear. It is our pleasure to present recital programmes to promote the quartet as the most ideal chamber music combination.
Begun in 2003, Jade has recorded three albums of New Zealand music on the RATTLE label, performed all across New Zealand with AOTNZ tours and CMNZ tours, and Jade had a recital series at the Pah Homestead in Auckland from 2010-2020, as well as many other performances for regional chamber music societies in and around the North Island.
