John Ritchie (1921 - 2014) was a multi-faceted Christchurch musician: clarinettist, conductor, composer, and also Music Director for the Commonwealth Games and a Papal Visit. His Concertino and Suite exemplify his lyricism, quirky harmonies and infectious rhythms.
