The New Zealand Music for Woodwind concerts are now in their 6th year. This year's concert features recorder-player extraordinaire Kamala Bain, who will premier a new work by Phil Brownlee, and the legendary Saxcess, performing Kenneth Young's Saxophone Quartet.
The Donizetti Trio (Ben Hoadley, Luca Manghi and David Kelly) will give the Wellington premier of a new work for flute, bassoon and piano: "Venetian Mornings" by Gillian Whitehead, which has been recently commissioned by the University of Waikato.
Natalie Hunt's 'Winter" will also be performed by Reuben Chin.
