28th Mar 2014 12:10pm-1:00pm at Adam Concert Room
The New Zealand String Quartet, quartet in residence at NZSM, present a concert in the weekly lunchtime concert series.
As well as Haydn's String Quartet Opus 54 No.2 this concert will include the world premiere of works by NZSM graduates Tabea Squire, Karlo Margetic and Natalie Hunt. These are three of the four works commissioned by the NZSQ as 'The Travelling Portmanteau' – a set of pieces designed for performance by the ensemble as fresh new encore pieces for them to take on tour and perform for international and New Zealand audiences.
Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music is a joint venture of Massey University and Victoria University of Wellington.
Event admission: This is a free event.
